1 Corinthians 10:12-13.
Often times, well-meaning Christians offer others advice that may seem spiritual but not godly, something God never said. This past Sunday, we talked about trials and tribulations may come our way, and some of you right now, are going through a lot. It could be a financial burden; it could be you got a bad report from the doctor for you or someone you love. It could be you're battling with depression, any number of different things. Then the weight just gets heavier and heavier and finally you think, "I just can't take any more of this." It never fails—when you get to that place, along comes some well-meaning Christian who says, “It's all going to be okay. Remember, God will never give you more than you can handle.” While God never said this, we must learn to experience the power and the presence of God when you feel you have had more than you can handle.
