November 11 Sermon - A Veteran's Heart

A Veteran’s Heart Luke 23:26-46

Our church is proud of the men and women who have bravely served our great country by being in one of the branches of the military. We will be recognizing and honoring them as well as honoring our Lord, Jesus Christ. This Sunday, I will be sharing the story of a Vietnam War hero, Private Ronald Coker which will draw us into the sacrifices made on our behalf by our servicemen. Veterans’ Day is an opportunity for us to thank those who loved enough to give their lives for others. We gladly salute the flag of the United States, but the cross is a monument that speaks to all who will hear. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
