GOT PROBLEMS? GOOD!
The Value of Hard Times: Getting Stronger and Closer to God
There are times when we face big challenges. Most of the time, however, it's not cancer holding us back — it's a cold. Ninety percent of the problems we face aren't directly related to our purpose and mission in life. They're just inconveniences. They're not insurmountable; they just take up our time when we could be doing something more productive. But, if we're not careful, it's the inconveniences that will do us in. Some couples never spend quality time together because they're just too busy — and their relationship slowly deteriorates. Some people don't get involved in church because the service starts too early and ends too late. It would be a grave mistake to miss out on life by trying to avoid the inconveniences that happen along the way. In fact, the inconveniences help us more than they hurt us. We cannot escape life's little problems. They're inevitable. But they are not what they appear to be. They actually help us, if we use them to our advantage.
