"Life's Closed Door Lesson"
Luke 9:57-62

"Lord, I will follow you, BUT FIRST let me do this one other thing." This is a phrase that no doubt we have all spoken many, many times. It's a phrase that has the power to derail and delay your ability to live up to your potential. Here's the brutal truth. As long as you're saying, "Not now, but first, maybe later," you'll never get around to doing what you know you need to do. It's a lie that we tell ourselves, and it is the number one reason why people never get rebooted on the path to a new life when life comes crashing down. If you want your reboot to take hold, you have to address this issue of not-now/maybe-later/but-first.

I hope to see you Sunday as we look into God’s word and find hope in God’s promises.  I’m so glad to be the pastor of “Loving People Loving God.”
