"Life's Second Chance Lesson"
John 8:3-11

You can't be successful in your new life if you're casting judgment on others. If you want to experience a new beginning in any area of your life — your family, your marriage, your relationship to God, your friendships, or anything else — you have to let go of your holier-than-thou tendencies, and treat others with the same grace you've received in your life. You can’t judge others and walk in the newness of life. The spirit of condemnation will eat at your soul like a cancer until it destroys every good thing that you have tried to create for yourself. What it really means to be a second-chancer in life it that you’ve learned how to avoid the “at-least-I’m-not-as-bad-as-those-people” syndrome that plagues so many people who call themselves Christians.

I hope to see you Sunday as we look into God’s word and find hope in God’s promises.  I’m so glad to be the pastor of “Loving People Loving God.”

Quote of the Day
Often our attitude is the only difference between success and failure.
Verse of the Day
Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law?  Jesus answered, ' Love the lord your God with all of your heart, with all your soul and with all of your mind.'   That is the greatest commandment.   The second is like it, 'Love your neighbor as yourself'.
Matthew 22: 36-39
